10% of the prize money will go to charity and each runner will nominate their chosen charity.
That’s $750,000 going to charity and it’s certainly a forward-thinking initiative from Racing NSW.

The field for the 2019 Golden Eagle won’t be confirmed until late October when RISA releases the final field, barrier draw and weights.
The Golden Eagle field will consist of around 14-16 runners.
The field is determined by prize money, class and various other handicapping factors.

It’s tough to label a good form guide for a race that has yet to be run. It will be best to look at the top three-year-old form from the season prior.
The current market is showing all the top three-year-olds and that appears to be the best way to go.
