This filly was placed third last start in the McNeil Stakes against the boys, which it has been well noted that the boys have rated lengths better than the fillies since their two-year-old days, so a third placed effort in the race was solid.
Morioka is yet to miss a place in five starts, but is still a maiden and has not been racing around in stakes company like our favouirte.

This is a race that really lacks quality, but it has been well noted that the Victorian colts and geldings have been a lot better than the Victorian fillies, so seeing as Heresy ran a great third against the boys in the McNeil, she goes on top.
She was also great first-up when running second to Gimmie Par who has great ability and is arguably one of the better fillies in Victoria, so the form just reads better than the rest of these horses.
The daughter of Street Boss will appreciate the 1400m, so there are no issues there and although is drawn a touch sticky in seven, she gets back and hits the line anyway, so it is not a big issue.

She was a country maiden winner on debut, but was did look to have a touch up her sleeve, winning by more than two lengths.
Throntari got well back in that event and come wide with momentum, powering down the outside, but did lay in as well so she is a touch green still.
