The 2021 Makybe Diva Stakes is run at Flemington over the mile at Group One WFA level.

Tofane marginally heads the market ahead of Winx Stakes winner Mo'unga and Queensland boom horse Incentivise.

Aegon looks a great chance in the race at the price, while last year's winner Fierce Impact's full brother Keiai Nautique looks one that can add some value to the exotics.

2021 Makybe Diva Stakes Tips

Best Bet - Aegon

At the current prices, I am more than happy to be siding with Aegon who caught my eye in the Memsie Stakes when racing in restricted room and hitting the line nicely.

He finished fourth in that event and will be greatly improved out to the mile on a big flat track like Flemington, as I am not convinced Caulfield is his circuit.

The four-year-old is one from one second-up and has that little bit of X factor that could see him take this race out, so is underestimated by the market.

Next Best Bet - Mo'unga

Another four-year-old is this son of Savabeel who showed a sharp turn-of-foot in the Winx Stakes first-up to beat Verry Elleegant which is no easy feat over any trip.

Mo'unga looks ideally placed at the mile and was extremely stiff last prep not to win a Group One at this very trip via the Randwick Guineas, so you can easily give him another tick there.

Having him as a saver and not the mian play was due to the wide gate, which means he is going to have to get right back or play for luck in a three-wide line with cover.

Value Bet - Keiai Nautique

The full brother to Fierce Impact was terrific on his Australian debut when closing off to finish a very close fourth to Mo'unga in the Winx Stakes.

We know that the mile is his ideal journey, and if anything like his brother, Keiai Nautique will improve with more Australian racing under the belt.

A seven-year-old entire, he is getting on in age, but the run in the Winx Stakes showed there is still plenty of zest in his legs and he may have caught a winnable Group One early in the spring.
