Zaaki (barrier three) won last year's Doomben Cup by a massive seven lengths and follows the same Hollindale Stakes pattern in 2022, arriving off an 1800m Gold Coast win.

One of Australia's best WFA gallopers, the Annabel Neasham-trained import is now going for a fourth Group One win to go along with his All-Star Mile triumph.

Chris Waller has four of the 10 Doomben Cup acceptances, with Kolding (barrier one), Kukeracha (barrier eight), Great House (barrier nine) and mudlark Polly Grey (barrier seven) included in the final field.

Huetor (barrier five) now gets to 2000m third-up after a fourth to Zaaki in the Hollindale Stakes.

The Peter & Paul Snowden-trained gelding won his second and third Australian starts over this journey when completing a hat-trick in December.

Maximal (barrier two) gets gun jockey Nash Rawiller for this return assignment following two strong trials.

The three-quarter brother to champion Frankel has been well beaten in both attempts this year.
