Stradbroke Handicap Latest Odds - Wide open Group 1 predicted at Eagle Farm

In a competitive market with PlayUp, Leading Brisbane trainer Tony Gollan has Antino ($6.50) and the five-year-old heads the betting for the 2024 Stradbroke Handicap off a return win in the Victory Stakes on May 4, while he backed that up with a sixth-of-ten finish in the Group 1 Kingsford-Smith Cup.

A galloper who quickly worked through the grades over his first few campaigns, Antino was Group 1 placed over last year's Melbourne Spring Carnival and importantly, the son of Redwood has a terrific record at Eagle Farm (five wins and a third from six attempts).

Godolphin have won this race previously with Impending (2017) and Trekking (2019) and now fourth-up after breaking a reasonable drought, there's a sense of timing with Vilana, who was gelded ahead of this campaign.
