Race 6: No.6 Silent Emmy

The Nikki O’Shea-trained galloper is in top-shelf form of late and looks set to bring up the hat-trick in this event.

Last start, the So You Think mare made it back-to-back wins when she came off a Class 1 victory at Bordertown and took on city class company where she clobbered a BM68 field, here over 2000m with Rochelle Milnes in the saddle.

Leading from barrier to box, she gave nothing else a chance, crossing the line almost three lengths clear in the end.

Dropping back in grade here, she draws perfectly in gate two and maps to be leading them again with Milnes at the helm for the second time.

In career-best form and at her peak for this test, she looks the one they have to run down in this contest.

Race 7: No.7 Dancing Storm

The Team Jolly-trained galloper is second-up here and ticks all the boxes that suggest he can ring up career win number three in this event.

Last start, the Sir Prancealot gelding resumed off a 19-week spell and turned plenty of heads when a fast finishing second in a BM72 over 1100m at Murray Bridge.

Settling near last and three off the fence, Taylor Johnstone steered him wide on the turn where he stormed home to grab second prize, beaten less than a length on the line.

From gate six, he maps to settle just off the speed with Jake Toeroek back for his third ride on the four-year-old.

Already a track and distance winner, he has saluted second-up previously and the rise to the 1250m trip looks ideal for him here.

Race 8: No.2 Stokomo

The Bain & Taylor stable saddle-up Stokomo here who has found his mojo and looks set for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the Divine Prophet gelding showed plenty of improvement when he finished best to claim victory in a BM56, here over 1400m.

With Todd Pannell aboard, he carried 61.5kgs that day as he crossed the line half a length clear in the end.

Stepping up to Class 2 grade here, he drops 2.5kgs and has Pannell in the saddle again.

Ideally drawn in gate three, he maps to be box-seating on settling and at his peak after four runs back, he should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
