Race 3: No.10 Celestial Storm
The Luke Fernie-trained galloper is in great touch two starts back and looks well weighted here to take out this event.
Last start, the Zoustar mare came off a first-up win at Ascot when she finished third in a BM72, here over 1000m on the Scarpside track.
Having no luck in the run, she did well to grab the minor prize in the race with William Pike on board.
She draws the outside gate here where she maps to settle back in the field and avoid trouble.
Pike remains at the helm for this assignment and coming in on the limit, third-up and fitter, she looks a genuine winning chance in this contest.
Race 4: No.9 L’il Capri
In great touch this time in, the Team Williams-trained galloper drops in grade here and looks a serious contender for the big prize in this event.
Last start, the Playing God mare secured her fourth podium finish this preparation when she took home third prize in a Class 5, here over 1600m on the Scarpside track.
Coming from back in the field, she finished strongly to figure in a three-horse photo, only to be pipped-out of the top-two prizes that day.
William Pike returns for the ride here and from gate nine, the mare maps to settle back in the field again and save her best for the run home.
Already a track & distance winner here, she should be there at the finish of this contest and looks well worth an each-wat ticket.
Race 5: No.10 En Plein Air
Another galloper in the Team Williams stable lines-up here and third-up, looks in the mix for a win in this event.
Last start, the Universal Ruler mare was second-up when she claimed victory over 1200m at Bunbury with Lucy Fiore aboard for the first time.
Coming from back in the field, she finished over the top of the 13-strong field and arrived in time to grab the gold medal.
Ideally drawn in gate two here, she maps to settle back in the field again, with Fiore sticking with her for this assignment.
Already a track and distance winner and even fitter for two runs back, the four-year-old looks a winning chance in this contest.
