Sandown Racing Tips for February 26- Promising galloper from the Ciaron Maher stable to take out Race 4

We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Sandown racetrack.

Zorro’s Flight should be hard to beat in Race 2. The Patrick & Michelle Payne-trained galloper has finished in the top three in all four of his career starts, winning two. He was dominant at Flemington two starts ago in a BenchMark 70 over the 1400m before working hard to lead over the 1600m at that venue when pipped late by Garnacho back on February 18, gapping the rest. The son of Toronado comes into this with six weeks in between runs but drops in grade and looks to have a class edge. Thomas Prebble claims the 3kg and the pair draw perfectly in barrier 3. 

Keen on Kalkallo in Race 4. The promising galloper from the Ciaron Maher stable was solid when resuming from a spell on February at Sandown, settling last in the small field before working home strongly for 4th behind Heaving, beaten one length. I suspect the form from that race will hold up and the son of Alabama Express should have improvement to come at his second run back and up slightly in trip. 

Nothingelsematters can be an improver in Race 5. The four-year-old has had two runs this time in and worked home well at Mornington when resuming before again closing off at Pakenham when 3rd behind Wascaly over the 1600m. The 4th placegetter out of that has since taken out a BenchMark 82 at Morphettville. The Nikki Burke-trained galloper comes into this third up and will appreciate the extra 200m. Craig Williams rides.
