The Michael Freedman-trained galloper is in top-shelf form this time in and looks well placed here to bring up the hat-trick in this event.

Last start, the Deep Field mare went back-to-back when she took out a BM78 Hcp over 1200m at Doomben.

From barrier rise, she led the field, setting a solid pace to the turn, then in the run home, she had plenty left to give and went on to win by half a length on the line with Jasper Franklin in the saddle.

This looks no harder and from gate four, she maps to settle on the speed again with Rachel King aboard for the first time.

Finishing top-two in her past four outings, the four-year-old is racing at the top of her game and looks the one to beat in this contest.

Race 4: No.14 Flaxlands

Chris Waller saddles-up Flaxlands here who is second-up and after an impressive return to the track, looks set to go on with it in this event.

Last start, the Wootton Bassett filly resumed after five months off the scene and on fresh legs, broke through for her first win in a Maiden Plate at set weights, here over 1200m with Jaden Lloyd aboard.

After a moderate start, she settled mid-field on the fence before coming off heels nearing the turn, then scouting wide on straightening, she finished far too strong for them and went on to win by more than a length on the line.

Stepping-up to Class 1 company tonight, she draws out in gate nine and maps to settle mid-field with cover as Zac Lloyd takes the reins from his brother (Jaden) and steers the ship for this assignment.

Now boasting a win at the track on her resume, a clear run to the line here can see her going back-to-back in this contest.

Race 6: No.8 Natural Fling

The Team McEvoy-trained galloper arrives here off an impressive debut in Victoria and with a little luck from barrier rise, looks a serious contender for the big prize in this event.

Last start, the Home Affairs sired filly made her racing debut at Caulfield and turned plenty of heads when she clobbered her rivals in the Two-Year-Old Hcp over 1100m.

Harry Coffey had her leading from barrier rise and in the run home, the filly gave nothing else a chance, putting three lengths on the field as she crossed the line.

From gate 11 tonight, she maps to push forward and look for a sit near the speed with leading Melbourne jockey Jamie Melham at the helm.

If she can overcome the wide gate tonight, the two-year-old should be there at the finish of this contest.
