Race 5: No.1 Code In Time
The Neasham & Archibald-trained galloper is in career best form this preparation and ticks enough boxes here to suggest he is a genuine chance of ringing-up the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the Encryption gelding made it back-to-back wins when he beat home a BM72 field, here over 1400m. That made it four top-two finishes from his five starts this campaign.
He draws well again in gate two and maps to settle just behind the speed with Braith Nock taking over from the absent James McDonald.
Meeting similar company over the same track and distance, he carries 1kg less than his last start win and given a clear run to the line, he can give this contest a real shake at odds.
Race 6: No.3 Flying Thinker
Peter Snowden saddles-up Flying Thinker here who is flying high after two starts back and looks well placed here to make her Warwick Farm debut a winning one.
Last start, the well-bred So You Think mare came off a BM64 win at Newcastle when resuming and stepping up to BM72 company, wasn’t disgraced when taking home third prize over 1250m at Canterbury, leading clearly in both events with Mitchell Bell aboard.
Ideally drawn in gate two here, she maps to settle on the speed again with Kerrin McEvoy taking the reins for the first time.
With five podium finishes coming off her six career starts to date, she looks the best each-way investment of the day.
Race 7: No.5 Heed The Omens
The Chris Waller-trained galloper clashes with no less than four other stable representatives here but does stand out as the best of them as a winning chance in this event.
Last start, the well-bred Hallowed Crown gelding rang up career-win number two when he arrived in time to take out a BM72 over 1550m at Canterbury with Zac Lloyd aboard.
Box-seating to the turn, he was held-up briefly then took the split when it came and managed to stick his nose out in time to claim victory that day.
He draws well again here in gate two and maps to settle in the first half-dozen with the experienced Nash Rawiller booked for his first ride on the four-year-old.
Racing well this time in, he looks the testing material in this contest.
