The Phillip Stokes-trained galloper has done everything but win and after five starts in, looks ready to break through in this event.

Last start, the Frosted filly made it back-to-back runner-up finishes when she beat all but one home in a Maiden Plate over 1250m on the Parks circuit at Morphettville.

On a Heavy 8 that day, Harry Grace had her settled fourth and trapped four-deep to the turn, then in the run home, she chased hard all the way and in the driving rain, did well to wind-up in second place.

Conditions are expected to be a little better here and from gate nine, she maps to cross and settle just behind the speed with Will Price back for his second ride on the filly.

At her peak now and with better conditions to race in, the three-year-old should prove hard to beat in this contest.

Race 4: No.8 Bellentia

Kristi Evans saddles-up Bellentia here who is third-up today and should be ready to win.

Last start, the Valentia mare was second-up off a 19-week spell and showed plenty of improvement when she finished fifth in a BM56 over 1100m at Murray Bridge.

Teagan Voorham settled her fourth one off the fence to the turn before squeezing between runners, she found herself challenging for the lead but ran out of puff over the final 50m with swoopers denying her a podium finish in the end.

From gate six here, she maps to settle better than mid-field with Rochelle Milnes as the new pilot for this assignment.

Already a winner when third-up, the four-year-old will strip fitter here and should be there at the finish of this contest.

Race 6: No.5 Illustrates

The locally-trained galloper is second-up here and looks up for back-to-back wins in this event.

Last start, the Pride of Dubai mare came off a 21-week spell and broke through for her first win by taking out a Maiden Plate over 1200m at Balaklava.

With Jemma Gutte in the saddle, the mare sat outside the leader to the turn, then in the run home, she tended to hang out, giving Gutte a hard time trying to keep her straight but in the end, managed to hang on and win by half a length on the line.

Well drawn in gate five today, she maps to settle right behind the speed with Gutte retaining the ride for this assignment.

Fitter for that first-up run and placed at the track previously, a trouble-free run here should see the four-year-old competitive and is well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
