Randwick racing takes place on Saturday, February 15, with a 10-race program set down for Randwick racetrack.

Race 6: No.10 Clear Thinking

The Scone-based Clear Thinking is unbeaten in four starts to date is ideally weighted here to bring up win number five in this event.

Last start, the Irish-sired mare was second-up and kept the momentum going with a win against Class 3 competition, here over 1200m.

She drew wide in gate 10 (of 14) that day settling worse than mid-field, then finished all over the top of them and despite carrying 60kgs, still crossed the line half a length clear on the line.

Zac Lloyd rode her to victory two starts back and returns to steer the ship again where the five-year-old draws wide again in gate nine (of ten) and maps to cross and settle near mid-field.

Hard to knock the winning form she is in at the moment and if she enjoys a trouble-free run here, she can give this black-type event a real shake.

Race 7: No.3 Lady Shenandoah

The Chris Waller-trained galloper resumes off a 19-week spell and ticks all the boxes that suggest she can take out this event on fresh legs.

Last start, the well-bred Snitzel filly ended her two-start campaign unbeaten when she destroyed the Group 1 Flight Stakes field, here over the trip mile.

Given the run of the race by Zac Lloyd, she quickly took over inside the final 300m and put a space on them, winning by more than three lengths.

The three-year-old has trialled twice since, winning her latest hit-out, beating home her stablemate, Switzerland (whose last start saw her win the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes).

Already a winner when first-up and a winner at the track, she looks the one they have to beat in this contest.

Race 10: No.7 Perfumist

Bjorn Baker saddles-up Perfumist here who has won her past four starts and in her current frame of mind, looks the testing material in this event.

Last start, the El Roca filly came off a big win here when she franked that effort and made it four-straight by taking out a BM78 over 1500m at Rosehill.

Tyler Schiller sent her to straight to the lead and from there, she was never troubled, going on to win comfortably by more than two lengths on the line.

She may need a little luck at barrier rise here where she draws gate nine (of 15), and may have to take a sit with plenty of early speed drawn inside here gate.

Anna Roper is the new pilot here and brings with her a 3kg claim which sees the filly carrying 1kg less than her last start win.

Meeting similar company here, she looks every chance of adding to that picket fence next to her name and claiming victory in this contest.
