The Team Cahill-trained galloper is high-flying this time in and at the weights, looks a serious threat in this event.

Last start, the Rich Enuff gelding made it back-to-back victories when he took out a BM64, here over the 1000m sprint.

Settling back in the field, Caitlin Tootell got to work on him approaching the turn and in the run home, finished too strong. Arriving on time to claim the gold medal in the race on the line.

Ideally drawn in gate two here, he maps to settle back again and save his best for the end with Tootell in the saddle for her second ride on the four-year-old.

The 1100m looks ideal for him now although up sharply in grade, he drops 7kgs after Tootell’s claim and in his current form, should prove hard to hold out in this contest.

Race 5: No.3 Cielao

Michael Hickmott saddles-up Cielao here who is in top-shelf form of late and ticks enough boxes to suggest she can make it three-straight in this event.

Last start, the Toronado mare came off a Morphettville win and franked that effort by beating home similar company over 1500m at Gawler.

Leading from the outset, Jessica Tzaferis kept her going and managed to hold them at bay, winning in a tight finish.

Dropping back to the 1400m here, she draws barrier eight and maps to settle on or near the speed with Caitlin Tootell as the new pilot.

In winning form and with Tootell boasting a 27% strike rate with the Hickmott stable, the four-year-old looks every chance for the hat-trick in this contest.

Race 7: No.6 Caladan

The Team Jolly-trained galloper is second-up here and gives every indication he can notch-up his third career win in the event.

Last start, the Tassort gelding resumed after 21 weeks off the scene and impressed when beating all but one home in a BM64, here over 1000m.

With regular rider Jake Toeroek in the saddle, he settled mid-field early before finding the front inside the final 200m, but lacking race fitness, was nabbed by a fitter horse near the line, leaving him with the silver medal to take home.

Ideally drawn in gate two here, he maps to be box-seating on settling with Toeroek in pride of place.

Already a winner at the track and has saluted previously when second-up, a trouble-free run here should see him hard to beat in this contest.
