Race 4: No.8 Attractiveness
The Team Freedman-trained galloper is high-flying after two starts back and looks in the mix to claim the big prize in this event.
Last start, the French-sired filly came off a big first-up win when she finished third in a BM72 Hcp, here over 1300m.
Sitting fourth to the turn, then in the run home, looked beaten but found a second breath and finished on again, doing her best work in the final 100m.
The step-up to the 1500m here looks ideal for her now where she draws gate 10 and maps to cross and settle mid-field or better with Chad Schofield back for his second ride on the filly.
Even fitter for two runs back, the three-year-old looks up to the challenge in this contest.
Race 8: No.10 Midnight Opal
The Nathan Doyle-trained galloper has been thereabouts in most of his races this preparation and ticks enough boxes here to suggest he can give this event a real shake.
Last start, the Deep Field gelding found the podium again when he finished third in a BM88, here over 1200m.
Kerrin McEvoy settled him mid-field on the fence to the turn, then in the run home, stuck to the inside and finished off well to grab the minor prize in the race.
Meeting similar company here, he draws gate 10 and maps to cross and settle better than mid-field with Dylan Gibbons back for his third ride on the five-year-old.
Boasting two wins from three starts at the track and distance, he looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
Race 9: No.8 Midnight Dynamite
The Bjorn Baker-trained galloper is in top-shelf form this time in and looks the one to beat in this event.
Last start, the Pierata gelding made it six-straight podium finishes when he claimed third prize in the Listed Winter Stakes, here over 1400m.
Drawn wide that day, he settled back in the field and was still well back on the turn, before running home strongly, arriving in time to grab the minor prize in the race.
Facing Listed company again, he steps-up to the 1500m for the first time here and from gate six, maps to settle in the first half-dozen with Tommy Berry as the new pilot.
In career-best form, a trouble-free run should see him hard to hold out in this contest.
