The Clinton Taylor-trained galloper is unbeaten this time in and looks set to continue the trend in this event.
Last start, the Pride Of Dubai mare racked-up the hat-trick when she scored in a Class 2 Plate over 1200m at Townsville.
Settling second in the run, the mare entered into a two-horse battle with the leader in the run home and eventually finished best in a tight finish.
Stepping-up to BM70m competition here, she also faces the 1400m trip for the first time but drops 4kgs from last start, coming in on the limit with just 54kgs to carry.
Ron Stewart retains the ride and from gate three, she maps to settle near the speed and should prove hard to run down in this contest.
Race 5: No.5 Jay Bee Ell
The locally-trained galloper is in great touch this preparation and at his peak here, looks a serious threat to his rivals in this event.
Last start, the Ghibellines gelding came off back-to-back podium efforts when he stepped-up to the mile trip and wasn’t disgraced, finishing fourth in the BM55 event on this track.
At his peak today, he faces similar company here over the 1600m trip again with Adam Sewell in the saddle again and from barrier eight, maps to go forward and settle just behind the early speed.
Already a winner here, with a trouble-free run he can figure in the finish of this contest.
Race 8: No.6 Super Talon
The John O’Sing-trained galloper has been a model of consistency after nine race starts and second-up here looks one of the main winning chances in the event.
Last start, the Supido gelding resumed after five months off the scene and impressed when finishing a close-up third in a BM55 over 1100m at Mackay.
Seeing that track for the first time, he drew the fence and with Natalea Summers aboard, settled mid-field with cover before finding space near the fence in the run home and took control but was run down in the closing stages by two stronger on the day, beaten just half a length on the line.
Fitter for that run, the four-year-old returns to his home track today where he is already a winner and has Summers at the helm again for this assignment and with a trouble-free run, looks on target to land his second career win in this contest.
