The Garret Lynch-trained galloper is third-up here and looks well placed in easier company to take out this event.

Last start, the Hanseatic mare came off a big maiden win at Balaklava when she finished fourth in a BM64 over 1100m at Murray Bridge.

Settling second early, she lost a little ground and wound-up fourth in the run to the turn, then battled on gamely in the run home to finish just behind the placegetters, beaten just over a length on the line.

Facing BM 0-62 company here, she draws well in gate four and maps to settle just behind the speed with Connor Murtagh retaining the ride.

Third-up and fitter for those two runs back, the four-year-old figures prominently in this contest.

Race 6: No.7 Synthesise

Matthew Seyers saddles-up Synthesise here who is high-flying after two runs back and looks a genuine winning chance in this event.

Last start, the Toronado mare went one better than her first-up effort when she took out a Class 1 Hcp over 1600m at Balaklava.

Todd Pannell settled her mid-field (on the fence) to the turn before coming off heels and after securing a split between runners, ran home strongly to get the cash in the end.

Dropping 2kgs here, she jumps from gate four and maps to settle just behind the speed with Pannell in the saddle again.

This looks no harder and fitter for those first two runs, the four-year-old looks good value here and is a contender for the big prize in this contest.

Race 9: No.1 Bargain Boy

The Team Stokes-trained galloper is third-up here and ticks enough boxes to suggest he can play a hand in the outcome of this event.

Last start, the Graff gelding made it back-to-back podium finishes when he took home third prize in a BM 0-64 Hcp, here over 1522m.

Caitlin Jones settled him fourth, one out, one back to the turn before crossing off heels and in the run home, battled it out with three others to secure a podium finish in the end.

Meeting similar company here over 1600m, he draws out in barrier eight and maps to cross and settle in the first half-dozen with Jones at the helm again.

Fitter for two runs back and already a winner when third-up, the four-year-old appears to be a major player in the outcome of this contest.
