The Team Gangemi-trained galloper is in great touch this preparation and ticks all boxes that suggest back-to-back wins are a distinct possibility in this event.

Last start, the Per Incanto gelding was third-up and bounced back to claim victory in a Rating 72 Hcp, here over the 1000m sprint.

Steven Parnham settled him mid-field early before finishing best in the run home, crossing the line a length clear in the end.

Getting all the favours here, he draws the fence and maps to do no early work as he settles in the back half of the field with Steven Parnham remaining aboard.

Unbeaten at the track and distance, he lines-up here at his peak and should prove hard to beat in this contest.

Race 6: No.13 Spicy Thang

Trevor Andrews saddles-up Spicy Thang here who is second-up and looks well placed for another victory in this event.

Last start, the Toronado filly resumed off a nine-week spell and impressed when she clobbered her rivals in a One Metro Win Hcp, here over 1200m.

Sent out a $4.60 favourite, she left the gates from barrier 15 (of 16) with William Pike aboard and settled second outside the leader to the turn, then on straightening, took control and raced away to score by more than two lengths on the line.

Facing Rating 66 company here, she gets the gun-run from gate one and maps to settle in the first half dozen (on the fence) with Holly Nottle back for the ride.

Fitter for that first-up effort and already a two-time winner here, the three-year-old should prove hard to hold out again in this contest.

Race 7: No.12 Hot And High

The Dion Luciani-trained galloper is in outstanding form, winning five of her six starts to date and looks ideally placed here to add another victory to her resume in this event.

Last start, the Too Darn Hot filly suffered her first defeat when she finished an unlucky second in the Listed Raconteur Stakes, here over 1400m.

Lucy Fiore settled her just behind the speed before joining the leader on the turn, then in the run home, took control but was unable to shake off the challenge from Vatican Storm who out-bobbed her right on the line to get the decision.

They clash here again with Hot And High enjoying a 2kg advantage and is much better drawn as well.

From gate six, she maps to settle just behind the pace with Fiore in the saddle again.

The step-up to the mile trip could test a lot of these but at her peak after three runs back this preparation, the three-year-old should prove hard to beat in this contest.
