Race 1: No.7 Street Legal
The Sarah Rutten-trained galloper is first-up here and on fresh legs, looks the one to beat in this event.
Last start, the Exceedance gelding ended his last campaign by finishing third in a Maiden Plate over 1250m, here on the Parks circuit.
Having his last start for the Team Stokes stable, Noel Callow had him leading the way on settling but was unable to sustain the speed he set, weakening to finish with third prize in the event.
Coming off a 13-week spell here, he draws gate four and maps to settle just behind the early speed with Connor Murtagh as the new pilot.
Placed in all three previous first-up appearances, he should prove hard to keep out in this contest.
Race 7: No.13 Talisay
The Clarken & Sorby Team saddle-up Talisay here who is in top-shelf form this time in and ticks enough boxes here to suggest she can figure in the finish of this event.
Last start, the Pride of Dubai mare found the podium for the fourth time in five starts this preparation when she beat all but one home in a BM80, here over 2000m.
Drawn wide that day in gate 11 (of 12), Rochelle Milnes settled her near the tail of the field to the turn before coming off many heels and on straightening, she was the widest runner and still eight lengths off the leader, stormed home to grab the silver medal, beaten half a length on the line.
Stepping-up to Listed company here, she draws barrier eight and maps to settle back in the field with regular rider Milnes steering the ship again.
Placed in Listed company previously and already a three-time winner at this track, the five-year-old looks a genuine winning chance in this contest.
Race 8: No.4 Heaven Rocks
The Team Jolly-trained galloper is first-up off a 19-week absence here but still looks the one they have to beat in this event.
Last start, the Fastnet Rock gelding ended a disappointing campaign when he finished down the track in a BM64, here over 1050m with Harry Grace in the saddle.
With the track conditions against him, he settled mid-field early and in the run home, the Heavy 10 took its toll as he failed to improve at all from there, crossing the line 3.5 lengths from the winner that day.
He draws well in gate four here and maps to settle just behind the speed with Caitlyn Jones back for her third ride on the gelding.
Already a track and distance winner, he boasts a glowing record on fresh legs with two wins and as many minor placings from five previous first-up appearances and on top of the ground here, the five-year-old gets his chance to shine in this contest.
