Race 2: No.5 Enuff Seduction
The Team Cahill-trained Enuff Seduction is three starts into his racing career and looks well placed here for back-to-back victories.
Last start, the Rich Enuff gelding made it third time lucky as he broke through for his first win, taking out a Maiden Plate over 1100m at Gawler.
Justin Potter has been aboard on each occasion and last start, rode him a treat, settling him one off the fence, right behind the pace.
Fitter for two runs, he showed plenty of fight and finished too strong for them in the end and with 56kgs, won the race by half a length on the line.
He steps-up to BM66 company here but has Potter sticking with him and ideally drawn in gate two, maps to settle in the box seat.
A clear run to the line can see him figure in this contest.
Race 4: No.5 Almonti
Henry Dwyer saddles-up Almonti here who is in great touch of late and with conditions to suit, is capable of giving this event a real shake.
Last start, the Dundeel gelding made it a hat-trick of top-three finishes when he took home third prize in a BM64 over 2000m at Ballarat.
He challenges for the lead in the run home but the final 100m saw him out with Declan Bates in the saddle that day.
Dwyer drops him back to the 1600m trip here where he is already a two-time winner.
He only visit to Morphettville ended in an unplaced effort (four starts back) on a Heavy 9 over 1950m.
Manoel Nunes is the new pilot here as the five-year-old jumps from barrier eight and maps to settle better than mid-field with cover.
The drop in distance and dry track boost his chances here and with a trouble-free run, he will be finishing on strongly in this contest.
Race 6: No.5 Deepfloat Diva
The Team Jolly-trained Deepfloat Diva is high-flying this time in and with all boxes ticked here, looks the best of the day.
Last start, the Deep Field gelding went back-to-back when he took out a BM68, here over 1100m with regular rider Jake Toeroek in the saddle.
Box-seating soon after the start, he had the tearaway leader covered and on straightening, gathered him in and held the challengers at bay to record his second track and distance victory.
He steps-up to BM78 company here but has Toeroek in the saddle again and from gate four, maps to settle better than mid-field with cover.
Now three starts back from a lengthy 10 months off the scene, he should be at his peak here and boasting four wins from his six-start career to date, he looks the one to beat again.
Race 8: No.4 Zebella
Phillip Stokes saddles-up Zebella here who is third-up and in top-shelf form, looks the testing material in this event.
Last start, the Zebedee mare came off an impressive first-up win on this track, when she crossed the border and lined up in a BM78 at Flemington and did well to beat all but one home down the straight course over 1200m.
She was one of four who contested the finish that day with Luke Nolan aboard and took home the silver medal, beaten a short head on the line.
The five-year-old returns to Morphettville where she is already a two-time winner and has Lachlan Neindorf returning for the ride after steering her to victory in that first-up win.
She draws sweetly in gate three here and maps to settle near the speed and after two runs back she should strip even fitter and prove hard to run down.
