Race 4: No.2 Autumn Frost
The Team Jolly-trained galloper is in good touch this time in and looks set to go one better in this event.
Last start, the Frosted gelding finished runner-up again when he beat all but one home in a Class 2 Hcp, here over 1250m.
Trying to lead all the way, he set a good pace early and on straightening, pinched a break and looked home but was run down on the line by a swooper, leaving him with second prize on the day.
From gate five, he maps to settle on or near the speed here with Caitlin Jones backing-up for the ride.
Already a winner at the track and trip, meeting similar company here the four-year-old should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 5: No.2 Nextonixs
The Tassort mare is high-flying after two runs back and looks ideally placed for back-to-back success in this event.
Last start, she improved off her first-up minor placing and claimed victory in a BM72, here over 1000m with Rochelle Milnes aboard.
Settling third behind the leaders, she sat on heels to the turn before the leader drifted wide, then railing like a greyhound, the mare found the front and never looked back, crossing the line 1.5 lengths clear in the end.
Drawn well in gate five here, she maps to settle near the speed with cover and has Milnes in the saddle again for this assignment.
Already boasting three wins at the track and trip, a similar run here should see the four-year-old hard to beat again.
Race 7: No.8 Tyusix
The Murray Bridge-based galloper is in great touch this preparation and looks well placed here to figure in the finish of this event.
Last start, the Toronado mare found the podium for the fourth time this campaign when she took home third prize in the Port Lincoln Cup over 1960m at Port Lincoln.
Doing it tough all the way, the mare was trapped wide most of the journey but in the run home, showed plenty of fight to box-on and claim the minor prize in the race, beaten just half a length on the line.
Down in grade here, she faces BM68 company and from gate six, maps to settle near mid-field with Jake Toeroek aboard for the first time.
Securing a spot closer to the fence here can see the six-year-old right in the finish of this contest.
