We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Ascot racetrack.
Race 1: No.6 Royal Toronado
The Team Williams-trained galloper is second-up here and ticks the boxes that suggest he is the one to beat in this event.
Last start, the Toronado gelding resumed after 11 weeks off the scene when he finished third in a Rating 72+, here over 1200m with Alan Kennedy in the saddle.
After settling back in the field, he worked into the race on the turn, then tracking wide, finished off strongly to grab the minor prize near the line.
Drawn the fence here, he maps to take a sit back in the field again with William Pike back aboard after already steering the gelding to four of his five career wins to date.
Already a two-time winner when second-up and has two victories on this track as well, he looks hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 2: No.5 Rolling Ruler
Bruce Watkins saddles-up Rolling Ruler here who is in top-shelf form of late and looks a genuine winning chance in this event.
Last start, the Universal Ruler gelding came off a swag of minor placings and bounced back to take out a One Metro Win Hcp, here over 1200m.
Ridden a treat by Troy Turner, he was box-seating on settling before finding the gap between the two leaders and soon after took control and then went on to claim victory on the line.
Well drawn in gate two here, he maps to settle in the first half-dozen and after riding the four-year-old in all eight starts to date, Turner has the reins again for this assignment.
Finishing on the podium in seven of his eight starts, he has the form on the board and looks the one to beat again in this contest.
Race 9: No.4 Sentimental Legend
The Team Williams-trained galloper is in top-shelf form this time in and looks a big chance of going back-to-back in this event.
Last start, the Brutal gelding improved off his first-up minor placing when he clobbered his rivals in a Class 1 over 1650m at Belmont.
William Pike settled him back in the field before working into the race on straightening, then showed a solid turn-of-foot to find the front by the 200m mark and raced away to win by 2.5 lengths, eased over the line.
This Listed event will be a little tougher as he draws wide in gate 10 but maps to settle back in the field with Pike at the helm again.
Even fitter after two runs back, the 1800m looks ideal for him now and with a trouble-free run here, he should be there at the finish of this contest.
