The Team Jolly-trained galloper has impressed with two starts to date and looks set to break through in this event.
Last start, the three-year-old found the podium again when he beat all but one home in a Class 1 over 1100m at Murray Bridge.
After settling back in the field, Jake Toeroek wound him up soon after straightening where he finished strongly and arrived in time to claim the silver medal in the event.
He draws much better here in gate two and maps to settle in the first half-dozen with Toeroek steering the ship again.

The Murray Bridge-based galloper is in career-best form and looks on target to bring up the hat-trick today.
Last start, the Niagara mare came off her maiden win at Gawler when she franked that effort by destroying her rivals in a BM56 over 1050m at Balaklava.
Drawn wide, Jessica Eaton settled her back in the field where she travelled four-deep to the turn but still managed to finish over the top of them and put almost three lengths on the runner-up across the line.
Drawn much better today, the five-year-old jumps from gate two and maps to be parked right behind the early speed as Polly Brewster takes the reins for the first time.
Both previous wins came on wet tracks so conditions here look ideal for her chances in this assignment.
Winning form is good form and she looks the testing material again in this contest.
Race 7: No.8 Break The Taboo
The Travis Doudle-trained galloper is high flying after three starts back and lines-up here looking a real threat to his opposition in this event.
Last start, the War Chant mare broke through for her first career win when she took out a 1400m Maiden Plate at Murray Bridge.
After settling worse than mid-field, she showed a solid turn of foot to take the lead inside the final 300m and managed to hold off the late challenges and hang on for a close win.
Stepping-up in grade today, she faces BM58 company here with Jacob Opperman retaining the ride and from gate five, maps to settle better than mid-field with cover.
At her peak today, a trouble-free run should see her fighting out the finish in this contest.
