The Frankie Lor-trained galloper is high-flying this time in and looks set to continue the run of good form in this event.

Last start, the Shamus Award gelding came off a second-up win when he finished third in a Class 2 Hcp over 1200m at Happy Valley.

Up 4.5kgs off that win, he settled third one off the fence to the turn before scouting wide and in the run home, chased hard but lumping 61kgs, was unable to make up the ground (conceding 8.5kgs to the winner) and had to settle for the minor prize that night.

Up in grade tonight, he faces Class 1 company for the first time and has apprentice Britney Wong as the new pilot.

Ideally drawn in gate three, he maps to settle near the speed and after the claim, drops 6kgs for this assignment.

The five-year-old comes off a recent trial, which he won by more than ten lengths (with Wong aboard) and at his peak here, looks a major player for the big prize in this contest.

Race 10: No.6 Mr Incredible

Brett Crawford saddles-up Mr Incredible here who resumes off an eight-week let-up and gives every indication he will be ready to strike on fresh legs in this event.

Last start, the Toronado gelding ended his last campaign with a big win by taking out a Class 4 Hcp, here over 1200m.

Karis Teetan had him box-seating on settling to the turn, then coming off heels he cantered up to the leader and soon after gave them all the go by when he hit top gear and went on to score by four lengths, eased over the final 50 metres.

Carrying 60kgs, he covered the 1200m in a sizzling 1:08.5, justifying the winning margin.

Perfectly drawn in gate two tonight, he maps to be box-seating again with regular rider Teetan in the saddle.

The three-year-old comes off a recent trial (which he won by four lengths) and already a winner when first-up, looks the testing material in this contest.

Race 11: No.6 Circuit Champion

The Danny Shum-trained galloper is second-up tonight and ticks all the boxes that suggest he can get the job done in this event.

Last start, the Starspangledbanner gelding resumed off a 10-week break and did well to finish third in a Class 3 Hcp, here over 1400m.

Having his first look at the 1400m trip, Keith Yeung settled him back in the field before working into the race on the turn, then ran home strongly to grab the minor prize, doing his best work over the final 100m.

Drawn out in gate nine tonight, he maps to drop back and settle in the back half of the field with Zac Purton taking the reins for the first time.

Yet to miss a podium finish, his four starts to date have all been at Sha Tin resulting in two wins and as many minor placings and already a winner when second-up, he strips fitter tonight and should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
