We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Rosehill racetrack.
Race 4: No.6 Tarzing
The Chris Waller-trained galloper is second-up here and looks weighted and gated to give this event a real shake.
Last start, the Tarzino gelding resumed after four months off the scene and did well to finish third in a BM72, here over 1400m.
Slowly away, he settled last of the eight runners tracking the field to the turn, then in the run home, was never really clear, parked on the heels of runners before eventually finding clean air when he arrived in time to grab the minor prize in the race.
He will strip fitter for that run and here he draws gate five and maps to settle mid-field with Siema Grima as the new pilot for this assignment.
Already a winner when second-up, he meets similar company here and with a clear run this time, the four-year-old should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 7: No.9 Hovland
Tom Charlton saddles-up Hovland here who high-flying after three starts back and looks ideally placed for back-to-back success in this event.
Last start, the Dundeel gelding racked-up his third career win when he took out a BM72 Hcp over 1600m at Warwick Farm.
On a Heavy 8, Tommy Berry settled him worse than mid-field one off the fence before tracking wide near the turn, then in the run home, came down the centre of the track and proved too strong in the end.
Nicely drawn in gate four, he maps to settle mid-field or better with Kerrin McEvoy aboard for the first time and although up in class, he drops in weight and at his peak here, should prove hard to beat in this contest.
Race 8: No.4 God’s Window
Fourth-up today, the Chris Waller-trained galloper has come back in top-shelf form and looks set to lay down a serious challenge for the major prize in this event.
Last start, the Dubawi gelding came off a second-up BM94 win when he missed back-to-back success by a whisker, beating all but one home in Open company over 1600m at Randwick.
Siena Grima settled him back in the race but enjoyed the trail on the fence to the turn before railing like a greyhound and in the run home, battled it out with Formal Display but had to settle for second prize in the race, beaten less than a length on the line.
Jumping from barrier eight here, he maps to cross and settle near mid-field with Kerrin McEvoy returning for his third ride on the five-year-old and prepared for this race in mind, he is at his peak and should prove mighty hard to hold out in this contest.
