The Trevor Andrews-trained galloper has come back in top-shelf form and looks set to go on with it in this event.

Last start, the Toronado filly was second-up and coming off a first-up win when she beat all but one home in a Rating 66, here over 1200m.

Box-seating from the outset, she sat on the leader’s heels to the turn then scored a dream rails run as the leader hung-out where she took the lead soon after but was run down in the shadows of the post by one better on the day, beaten a long neck on the line.

Drawn out in gate ten here, she maps to push forward and settle in the first half-dozen with William Pike returning for his second ride on the filly.

Already a two-time winner at the track, she strips even fitter for two runs back and should prove hard to toss in this contest.

Race 6: No.5 Antique Queen

Michael Grantham saddles-up Antique Queen here who has mixed her form in three starts back but over a more suitable trip, looks set to bounce back and claim victory in this event.

Last start, the Pierro mare came off a second-up win over 1600m then finished unplaced over the same trip in a Rating 66 on this course.

Chris Parnham settled her back in the field to the turn, then unable to find clean air, was blocked for a run until the 200m mark and couldn’t make up the ground in time, finishing mid-field in the run.

Ideally drawn here in gate two, she maps to settle better than mid-field on the fence with William Pike returning for the ride, chasing his second win on the mare.

Fourth-up and at her peak, a trouble-free run here should see her there at the finish of this contest.

Race 7: No.5 Territory Man

The Team Williams-trained galloper has come back firing on all cylinders and ticks all the boxes here that suggest back-to-back success is on the cards in this event.

Last start, the Territories gelding resumed off a 21-week spell and impressed when he took out a One Metro Win Hcp, here over 1400m.

William Pike went forward from gate nine and settled the gelding second on the outside of the leader until they straightened for the run home when he soon took control and from there, never looked like losing, crossing the line almost two lengths clear in the end.

He faces Rating 66 company here where he draws much better in gate two and maps to settle in the first two or three pairs with Pike at the helm again.

Now a track and trip winner and won second-up last preparation, a similar run to last start should see him very hard to hold out in this contest.
