We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Rosehill racetrack.

Race 4: No.12 Like Lukey

The Kris Lees-trained galloper is second-up here and with consistent career form, looks a top show to figure here at odds.

Last start, the Demna mare resumed off a 17-week spell when she beat all but one home in a BM84 over 1400m at Scone.

In a real head-turning performance, she settled near last of the 15 runners before threading her way through traffic in the run home and arriving late to grab second prize in the race, beaten a length on the line.

Ben Osmond was aboard that day and steers the ship again for this assignment where the mare draws much better in gate four and maps to settle mid-field with cover.

Whilst tackling city class company, she still drops in grade facing BM72 competition and with a trouble-free run here, she looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.

Race 6: No.3 Furious

Team Hawkes saddle-up Furious here who is third-up and well placed to win on debut at the Rosehill track.

Last start, the well-bred Redoute's Choice gelding improved off his first-up effort when he beat all but home in a BM78 over on the Kensington track at Randwick.

With 60.5kgs and Nash Rawiller on his back, he travelled wide throughout but finished on strongly arriving just a whisker too late to claim the major prize, beaten a head on the line, conceding the winner 4kgs in the race.

Drawn well in gate two here, he maps to settle near mid-field on the fence with Dylan Gibbons taking over as the pilot for this assignment.

Already a winner when third-up and boasts success on wet tracks, he looks the one to beat in this contest.

Race 8: No.5 Glory Daze

The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper has found his mojo this time in and looks well placed here for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the British-sired gelding improved leaps and bounds from his first two runs back when third-up, he finished best to claim victory in a BM88 over 2000m at Randwick.

Running on his first heavy track in Australia, he surprised punters (at $41) when he came from back in the field and beat home the 10-strong line-up with 59kgs on his back that day.

Ben Osmond was the pilot for that event and remains aboard for this contest.

He steps-up in grade here, taking on Listed company but has placed twice in Group 3 events previously.

Ideally drawn in gate two, he maps to settle in the first half-dozen (on the fence) and boasts five wins on wet tracks to date.

Considering the conditions for the meeting, he looks a serious contender for the major prize in this contest.
