Race 4: No.4 Brookhaven
Race 9: No.8 Floozie

We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Eagle Farm racetrack.

Race 3: No.3 Immediacy

The Victorian-based galloper is in top-shelf form this preparation and lines-up here looking a strong chance of bringing up the hat-trick in this event.

Last start, the Tarzino gelding came off a win at Mornington when he franked that effort by claiming victory again in a stronger BM100 affair over 2000m at Caulfield.

Settling just behind the speed that day, Blake Shinn timed his run well and inside the final 200m, took control and went on to win by a length on the line.

He is yet to see the podium after three attempts at the 2400m trip but with his sire being a Victoria Derby winner (at the 2400m), he has the blood in his veins and has had a strong preparation for this Group 3 event.

Already a winner at Group 2 level and with James McDonald in the saddle, the four-year-old looks primed for success in this contest.

Race 4: No.4 Brookhaven

Team Munce saddle-up Brookhaven here who is second-up and looks a big chance for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the Spieth gelding resumed off a 16-week spell and on fresh legs impressed by taking out the Listed Bernborough Quality Hcp over 1600m at Doomben.

On a Heavy 8 that day, Tyler Schiller had him box-seating early before easing off the fence on the turn, only to cross back to the inside where the gaps came for him, finishing best and going on to win by a length on the line.

Yet to miss a podium finish in three previous track and distance starts, he also boasts victory when second-up and a trouble-free run here can see him there at the finish again and well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.

Race 9: No.8 Floozie

The Tony Gollan-trained Floozie is unbeaten this time in and if she can overcome the wide gate here, she looks a real chance of making it four-straight in this event.

Last start, the Zoustar mare came off a big win in BM78 company when she impressed even further by taking out the Listed Silk Stocking (1400m) at the Gold Coast.

With Angela Jones aboard again, the mare drew the outside gate (13) and crossed to settle second before taking over inside the final 200m and hanging on to claim victory that day.

Drawn wide again in gate 12 (of 18), she maps to settle in the first half-dozen with Jones remaining at the helm and boasting an unbeaten record at the track and distance as well.

In career-best form and ticking all the boxes here, the four-year-old looks well worth a ticket on both totes in this contest.
