Race 2: No.7 Diamond Show
The Brad Widdup-trained galloper is second-up here and looks ideally placed to ring-up back-to-back success in this event.
Last start, the Almanzor mare resumed after 18 weeks off the scene and did it in style, taking out a BM64 over 1400m at Hawkesbury.
Tyler Schiller settled her one out, one back to the turn before tracking wide to find some running room, then finding the lead inside the final 100m and going on with it to win by a length on the line.
The four-year-old steps-up to the 1600m here where she is already a two-time winner and has Schiller steering the ship again.
From gate three, she maps to settle mid-field or closer to the speed and fitter for that first-up win, she can make it two-straight in this contest.
Race 5: No.8 Rotagilla
Chris Waller saddles-up Rotagilla here who is third-up and well placed for back-to-back wins in this event.
Last start, the All Too Hard gelding came off a close-up fourth at Warwick Farm and improved enough to clobber his rivals in a BM78 over 1500m at Randwick.
Tim Clark settled him just behind the leaders before tracking three-wide and taking over on straightening, then going on with it to cross the line 2.5 lengths clear in the.
He meets similar company here with the benefit of two runs under his belt and maps to settle mid-field from gate seven with Clark retaining the ride for this assignment.
Fitter and already a winner over the mile trip, should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 8: No.11 Accredited
The Joe Pride-trained galloper lines-up in the feature race of the day and second-up, looks a genuine winning chance in the Group 2 event.
Last start, the All Too Hard gelding came off a 15-week spell and impressed when he beat all but one home in a strong BM100 over the 1100m sprint at Randwick.
Jason Collett settled him third, one off the fence with the drop on the leaders before joining them soon after straightening, but was out-bobbed on the line by Estadio Mestalla, having to settle for the silver medal that day.
Ideally drawn in gate three here, he maps to settle just behind the speed again with Andrew Adkins as the new pilot.
The six-year-old drops 5kgs for this challenge and already a winner when second-up, he should be there at the finish of this contest.
