Last start, the Tassort gelding improved enough to break through for his first win by taking out a 1050m Maiden at Balaklava.
With Jake Toeroek aboard, he led soon after jumping before finding another gear in the run home where he left them all behind, crossing the line more than five lengths clear in the end.
He steps-up to Class 1 company here where he draws nicely in gate three and maps to be parked right behind the speed with Toeroek showing him the way again.
Placed here on debut, a trouble-free run should see him hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 4: No.5 Out Of Square
Another from the Team Jolly stable, Out Of Square is in top-shelf form this preparation and against her own age group here, looks the testing material.
Last start, the Hellbent filly made it four wins from her past five starts when she clobbered her rivals in a BM68, here over 1200m with Jake Toeroek in the saddle.
From a wide draw, she settled last, three horses off the fence before fanning even wider on the turn where she showed a solid turn-of-foot and finished the best in the run home, crossing the line more than two lengths clear in the end.
The three-year-old maps to settle back in the field again as she leaves the machine from gate seven with Toeroek retaining the ride for this assignment.
Now a track and distance winner, a trouble-free run here should see her the hardest hold out in this contest.
Race 5: No.7 Deepfloat Diva
The locally-trained galloper is high-flying this time in and looks all set here for a fifth-straight podium finish.
Last start, the Deep Field gelding rang up his first win for this campaign when he dead-heated for the major prize in a BM76 over 1050m at Morphettville.
Again, it was Jake Toeroek at the helm who settled the galloper near mid-field, one-off the fence, before securing a clear run to the line and arriving in time to share the spoils right on the post with equal-favourite, Sir Now.
He draws wide here in gate 10 (of 13) and again maps to settle back in the field with Toeroek calling the shots from the saddle.
Meeting similar company here, he should be at his peak after four starts back and avoiding any drama in running, he can this contest a real shake.
