The Strathalbyn-based galloper resumes here and boasting a strong fresh record, looks in the mix to claim victory on fresh legs in this event.

Last start, the Ambidexter mare ended a very successful campaign when she finished third in a BM0-64 over 1400m on the Parks circuit at Morphettville.

Slowly away, she settled back in the field before making up ground in the home and arriving in time to claim the silver medal in the race.

Nicely drawn in gate four here, she maps to settle in the first half-dozen with regular rider Brooke King in the saddle again.

Coming off two recent trials (winning the most recent of those), the five-year-old is a two-time winner when first-up and having already won at the track, looks a serious threat in this contest.

Race 8: No.1 Surprise Coming

The Mick Huxtable-trained galloper is second-up here and facing easier opposition, looks the one to beat in this event.

Last start, the Impending gelding resumed off a 15-week spell and impressed when he beat all but one home in a BM82 Hcp, here over 1200m.

Alysha Warren settled him second outside the leader to the turn, then in the run home, never stopped chasing but his condition gave out, leaving him with second prize in the race, beaten a neck on the line.

Dropping back to BM76 company here, he gets the gun-run from gate one and maps to settle two or three pairs back on the fence with Warren retaining the ride for this assignment.

Already a two-time winner when second-up and has had success at the track previously, the five-year-old looks the testing material in this contest.

Race 9: No.3 Falaise

Stuart Padman saddles-up Falaise here who is third-up and ticks all the boxes that suggest he is a prime contender in this event.

Last start, the Akeed Mofeed gelding came off an unplaced first-up effort when he showed a ton of improvement, finishing fourth in a BM68 over 1400m on the Parks circuit at Morphettville.

On a Heavy 8 that day, he drew the outside gate (11) where Alysha Warren eased him back to the tail of the field and sticking to the fence, he made up good ground in the run home, finishing right behind the placegetters, beaten just 1.5 lengths on the line.

Jumping from barrier eight here, he maps to settle back in the field again with Warren in the saddle again.

Fitter for those two runs back, the 1600m trip here looks ideal for him now and already a three-time winner when third-up, he looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
