Race 4: No.3 Capulet
The Team McEvoy-trained Capulet is third-up here and making her first appearance at Morphettville, looks a solid winning chance in this event.
Last start, the Extreme Choice mare showed plenty of improvement when second-up where she destroyed her rivals in a BM58 over 1400m at Wangaratta.
Enjoying the run of the race (one out, one back), she took over inside the final 150m and left them all to fight out the minors as she exploded away to cross the line four lengths clear of the 13-strong field.
Placed twice in two previous third-up appearances, she has the runs on the board (finding the podium 11 times from her 15 starts to date) and with a trouble-free run here, she should play an active part in the outcome of this contest.
Race 5: No.3 Rabtat
The Michael Hickmott-trained Rabtat is back to his best after three starts this time in and looks well placed here for a third-straight podium finish.
Last start, the Adelaide gelding came off a win at Murray Bridge when he stepped-up to Class 2 company and beat all but one home, here over 1600m with Todd Pannell in the saddle.
He faces another rise in trip here as he steps up to the 2000m and has Pannell sticking with him for the assignment.
He jumps from gate five where he maps to settle just behind the early speed with cover.
Yet to taste victory at the track after four previous starts, he has the runs on the board and is capable of saluting in this contest.
Race 6: No.5 Zarkana
The Strathalbyn-based Zarkana boasts a strong record here and looks well placed to bring up back-to-back victories in this event.
Last start, the Trapeze Artist mare recorded her first win for this campaign when she Clobbered a Class 2 field, here over the mile trip.
Jake Toeroek was aboard for the first time and after settling mid-field, made his move on straightening and inside the final 150m, took control and ran away to win by more than two lengths on the line.
Toeroek steers the ship again and from gate two, maps to settle better than mid-field on the fence.
She meets BM64 company here over the 1600m and is now a track and distance winner.
The big win last start suggests with a trouble-free run here, she can repeat the dose in this contest.
Race 9: No.3 Delightful Shecky
Dylan Caboche saddles-up Delightful Shecky here who is first-up and ticks all the boxes to suggest he can claim victory in this event.
Last start, the Delightful Choice gelding ended his last campaign when he came off a winning hat-trick and found the BM84 competition just a little too tough, finishing unplaced in the 1200m event at Murray Bridge.
From gate 10 (of 13), he was trapped four-wide without cover to the turn and simply had nothing left to offer in the run home.
He returned to work recently where he finished second in a barrier trial on this track with Todd Pannell aboard.
Now fresh off that 22-week break, Pannell has his ninth ride on the five-year-old (after steering him to four of his five career-wins).
He gets the gun-run from gate one where he maps to be possibly box-seating on settling.
Already a two-time winner when first-up and a two-time winner at the track and distance, he poses a real threat to his rivals in this contest.
