The David Vandyke-trained galloper is high-flying this time in and looks set to go on with it in this event.

Last start, the American Pharoah gelding came off a three-length victory over Class 1 rivals on this track when he stepped-up to BM68 company and did well to finish third in the 1640m event her as well.

Taking on Class 2 opponents here, Daniel Moor is the new pilot and from gate five, maps to be up near the speed.

Boasting strong form at Doomben and already a track and distance winner, he looks well placed here to add another victory to his resume in this contest.

Race 7: No.1 Pareto

David McColm saddles-up Pareto here who is in top-shelf form this preparation and looks set for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the Pierata gelding was third-up and landed his third career win when he took out a BM75, here over 1200m.

Settling near the speed, he stalked the leader into the home straight before finishing best to claim the major in the race with Danny Peisley in the saddle.

Fourth-up here, Ryan Maloney returns for another ride on the four-year-old and ideally drawn in gate four, maps to settle just behind the pace.

At his peak and already a winner at the track, he looks the testing material in this contest.

Race 8: No.15 Giliana

Tony Gollan leads out stablemates here with Giliana looking the stronger chance and best value of winning this event.

Last start, the well-bred Capitalist mare made it two wins from three starts this campaign when she clobbered a BM60 field over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast.

Parked outside the leader, Emily Lang timed her move to perfection which saw the mare take control inside the final 200m and go on to score by more than a length on the line with some to spare.

Stepping-up in grade here, she drops 3kgs for the assignment and has Lang in control again.

From gate six, the five-year-old maps to settle near the speed again and will be at her peak for this contest.
