Race 4: No. 8 Facile
Has raced in black type company during her short career so far and been very unlucky.
The daughter of Trapeze Artist closed out her last campaign with narrow defeats in the Group 2 Sweet Embrace and Group 2 Reisling Stakes at Royal Randwick.
Started this prep with an impressive victory at Warwick Farm where she led all the way and should take plenty of improvement out of that run.
Race 6: No. 2 Generation
It has been a long time in between wins for this horse and he has proven a tough one for punters to catch.
While he has been unplaced in both starts so far this prep, he is going better than that form suggests.
Was well beaten in the Group 1 Moir Stakes at The Valley last start but will appreciate the step back in class for this event.
There is a bit of speed in this race but Craig Williams can take a sit in behind them from barrier four and he represents good each-way value at his current price.
Race 7: No. 2 Skew Wiff
Will be making her Australian debut having built a solid racing resume in New Zealand.
The daughter of Savabeel is a last start Group 1 winner over 1400m across the ditch beating home Legarto who is the current favourite for the Golden Eagle.
Oppie Bossom has piloted her in both starts this prep and she will be ready to peak at this stage of her campaign.
Race 8: No. 10 Nunthorpe
A very progressive type of mare out of the Peter Moody stable who comes into this black type race off the back of two wins at this track and distance.
She kicked clear at the top of the straight last start and was eased down to score by over a length.
This is another step up in class but the out-of-form Jamie Kah is replaced by Blake Shinn and she drops 2kg.
