Caulfield racing takes place on Saturday, June 1, with an nine-race program for the meeting.

We have the best bets picked out from across day with value selections for Caulfield Racecourse.

Race 4 No. 5 Blistering

BLISTERING is worth thought at a massive price in Race 4.

The five-year-old was outclassed in a much tougher race than this two starts ago at Caulfield over the 1200m before dropping back to the 1100m on May 4 and finishing last of the eight runners behind Mrs Chrissie.

She settled back in that race but they crawled early. The daughter of Ready For Victory produced the fastest 600m-200m split before the lack of early tempo counted against.

She was seven-weeks in between runs that day and will strip fitter for this, while the tempo looks a bit more genuine, which should suit. Worth thought at the price.

Race 6 No. 4 Viviane

VIVIANE can get the job done in Race 6.

The consistent mare from the Matt Ellerton stable has some excellent form over the 1100m at Caulfield and just went down in narrow fashion behind Ashford Street over the 1000m here at her most recent start, which was on May 4.

The five-year-old was posted three deep in that race and was a tad keen before hitting the lead at the 200m and just going down late.

She will need to do it from the wide barrier but has the speed to find a spot and drops 5kg on her recent run.

Race 7 No. 7 St Lawrence

Best Bet comes up in Race 7 and it is the Ciaron Maher-trained ST LAWRENCE that should be hard to beat.

The five-year-old resumed over the 1500m at Rosehill back on April 27 and settled worse than midfield that day before running on for 3rd behind Waterford.

The winner out of that has since finished runner-up in the Scone Cup, while the runner-up was 3rd in the $500,000 The Coast and has since won at Randwick.

St Lawrence has won his past two second up runs and the most recent of those came off a similar break at Caulfield over the 1400m last year. He draws ideally in barrier 3 with Damian Lane to ride.

Race 8 No. 1 Shesallshenanigans

SHESALLSHENANIGANS is not without a chance at the each-way quote in Race 8 of the afternoon at Caulfield.

The Simon Zahra-trained filly has been close up at her past two starts and kept coming at Flemington last time when a narrow 3rd over the 1100m.

She was wide without cover prior to that at Caulfield over the 1100m when runner-up being Title Fighter.

The daughter of Coronado draws to save ground from the inside barrier this time around and form over the 1200m at similar stages of past preparations has been rock solid.
