- Race 4: No.3 Devine Belief
- Race 8: No.14 Super Smink
We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Ascot racetrack.
Race 3: No.5 Nonesospicy
The Team Casey-trained galloper is in top-shelf form this time in and looks every chance of bringing up the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the Australian-bred filly was third-up when she went back-to-back by taking out a Class 1 Hcp over 1000m at Belmont.
William Pike made it two from two with the three-year-old that day as she led all the way to claim victory by a length on the line.
She meets her own age group here and draws nicely in gate five where she maps to be challenging for the lead with Pike on board again.
Fourth-up and at her peak now, she is already a track and distance winner and if she dictates the race here, she should prove hard to run down again.
Race 4: No.3 Devine Belief
The David Harrison-trained Devine Belief is second-up here and ticks all the boxes to suggest she can claim victory in this event.
Last start, the Playing God mare resumed off a 22-week spell when she beat all but one home in a BM66, here over 1000m.
Known as an on-pace runner, Joseph Azzopardi found the front with her and she gave her all but was grabbed late in the peace, leaving her with second prize on the day.
Drawn out in gate nine (of 10) here, her early gate speed still has her in the leading bunch on settling where she lines up fitter from that first-up run.
Unbeaten in two second-up appearances, and already a two-time winner at the track and distance, Azzopardi steers the ship again and although stepping up in grade here, the five-year-old can go one better in this contest.
Race 8: No.14 Super Smink
Daniel Morton saddles-up Super Smink here who is in top-shelf form this campaign and looks set to keep it going in this event.
Last start, the Super One mare came off a solid win in the Group 3 Asian Beau Stakes when she faced her first crack at Group 1 company and did well to take home third prize in the Railway Stakes, here over the 1600m trip.
Regular rider Chris Parnham was aboard for his eleventh ride on the mare and after drawing the carpark in gate 15 (of 16), did a mighty job to have her cross the line less than a length behind the winner.
She draws nicely in gate six among the 16 starters and has Parnham in pride of place for this next Group 1 assignment.
She is in consistent form with four-straight podium finishes now on her resume and the extra 200m here looks ideal for her at this stage of her preparation.
A clear run to the line can see the four-year-old figure in the finish again.
