Race 4: No.8 Nkosi
Bjorn Baker saddles-up Nkosi here who is in top-shelf form this time in and looks well placed here for back-to-back success in this event.
Last start, the Shamus Award gelding was third-up and scored his second win this preparation when he clobbered his rivals in a BM88, here over 1800m.
From gate one, he led from barrier to box with Dylan Gibbons aboard, putting more than two lengths on the 10-strong field over the line.
He meets similar opposition here over 1900m and carries just 2kgs more for the assignment with Gibbons retaining the ride.
At his peak after three runs back, he looks the testing material in this contest.
Race 8: No.7 Autumn Boy
Chris Waller saddles-up four runners here as we run with Autumn Boy who is second-up and looks a genuine winning chance in his first Group 1 challenge.
Last start, the son of The Autumn Sun resumed after 11 weeks off the scene and did well to beat all but his stablemate (Sixties) home in the Group 3 Ming Dynasty Quality, here over 1400m.
Jason Collett settled him mid-field before scouting wide on the corner, then ran home strongly and claimed the silver medal, beaten just half a length on the line, finishing almost three lengths ahead of the other 10 runners.
Waller fits the blinkers here for the first time and fitter for that run, the three-year-old looks set to go one better in this contest.
Race 10: No.11 Monte Supreme
Another from the Bjorn Baker stable, Monte Supreme is unbeaten this preparation and with plenty going for her here, she looks set for the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the I Am Invincible mare stepped up in grade off her first-up win when she franked that victory by taking out a BM78 over 1100m at Randwick.
Jason Collett stuck with her that day and after settling mid-field, finished too strong for them, crossing the line almost two lengths clear in the end.
Meeting similar company here, the five-year-old is expected to settle back in the field from gate six with Collett at the helm again.
Even fitter for two winning efforts so far this campaign, she looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
