The Kris Lees-trained galloper is high-flying after three starts back and looks on target for the hat-trick in this event.

Last start, the Press Statement mare made it back-to-back wins when she clobbered a BM72 field over 1550m at Canterbury with Ben Osmond in the saddle.

She gets all the favours here from gate one and maps to be box-seating on settling with Osmond in charge again.

The four-year-old has placed at Randwick previously and should be at her peak for this being fourth-up here.

A trouble-free run will have her in contention in this contest.

Race 7: No.11 Kadavar

Chris Waller saddles-up Kadavar here who is in top-shelf form of late and looks in the mix to bring up the hat-trick in this event.

Last start, the Tarzino gelding rang-up career-win number five when he took out a BM84 over 2400m with his first look at the Caulfield track.

Coming from well back, Blake Shinn weaved through traffic to find clean air and arrived in time to claim victory that day.

He draws well in gate five here and maps to settle back again with Kerrin McEvoy returning after steering him to victory previously.

In winning form and coming in well at the weights, he can give this contest a real shake.

Race 9: No.5 Hedged

The Price & Kent team-trained Hedged is second-up here and looks ideally placed to threaten in this event.

Last start, the Capitalist gelding was fresh off a 22-week spell and made a big impression when he finished third The Warra (Group 3) over a 1000m at Kembla Grange with Chad Schofield in the saddle.

He gets the gun-run from gate one here where he maps to settle better than mid-field, on the fence with Schofield steering the ship again.

Fitter for that big first-up effort, he is a winner when second-up and placed at the track and distance as well.

A trouble-free run here should see him hard to hold out in this contest.
