Eagle Farm racing takes place on Saturday, December 14, with a 10-race program set for the meeting.

Race 4: No. 15 Bohemian Lad
Race 5: No. 2 Hell
Race 7: No. 2 Apuntar
Race 9: No. 11 Ocean Zar

We have the best bets picked out from across day with value selections for Eagle Farm Racecourse.

Race 4: No. 15 Bohemian Lad

I have quite an opinion of this four-year-old gelding who has three wins from nine career starts and has been unplaced only twice.

All three of those wins have been on a soft track and while he’s yet to see a heavy deck, he won a trial on a heavy 8 leading into this first up assignment.

He hasn’t gained a start yet but I’m expecting a few scratchings with the unpredictable weather in Brisbane at the moment.

Race 5: No. 2 Hell

An exciting young horse who has managed six wins and five placings after just 13 starts during his career.

He continues to progress through the grades and will be looking for his fifth win in a row at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Looks well placed again and the apprentice will give weight relief.

Race 7: No. 2 Apuntar

A talented and progressive type who has been racing very consistently right throughout this campaign which has included two impressive wins.

He was well beaten by Moon Sweeper at Doomben last start but he meets that horse 6kg better at the weights in this contest and we are still getting nice each way odds.

Race 9: No. 11 Ocean Zar

Only a lightly raced five-year-old mare and all three of her wins have been at this track and distance.

The daughter of Zoustar will be ready to peak now at her third start this campaign and if the track rates in the good/soft range her chances improve dramatically.
