Race 1: No.4 Eventually
The Murray Bridge-based galloper is in career-best form this time in and ticks enough boxes here that suggest she can figure in the finish of this event.
Last start, the Helmet mare made it five-straight podium finishes when she beat all but one home in an 1800m challenge at Morphettville.
From gate 11 (of 13), Kayla Crowther rode her well to overcome the wide draw and finish strongly enough to claim second prize that day.
She gets the gun-run here in gate one where she maps to settle closer to the speed and has Crowther sticking with her for this assignment.
High-flying this preparation and already a winner at the track, the six-year-old looks a serious threat to victory in this contest.
Race 3: No.7 Nasho
The Strathalbyn-based Nasho has won two of his past three and looks well placed here to strike again in this event.
Last start, the British-sired gelding clobbered his rivals in a BM66 over 1400m at Morphettville.
Taylor Johnstone had the reins for the first time and after crossing to lead, was never headed as he went on to win by more than two lengths on the line.
Jumping from gate five here, he maps to be on the speed again with Johnstone in the saddle again and after the 3kg claim, the four-year-old carries 3kgs under the limit.
Up in class but down in the weights, a clear run to the line can see him hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 6: No.6 Vexatious Dancer
Nicole Bruggermann saddles-up Vexatious Dancer here who is third-up and ready to win.
Last start, the Hualalai mare finished made it back-to-back runner-up finishes when she beat all but one to the line again in a BM64 over 1000m at Morphettville.
Regular rider Callan Murray was aboard again and after crossing to lead from gate nine (of 10), was nabbed, beaten a nose on the line.
Drawn better here in gate four, she maps to settle just behind the speed with Murray at the helm again.
Already a winner at the track and placed previously when third-up, she will strip even fitter after two runs back now and is more than capable of recording her fourth win in this contest.
