Flying Fizz can go on with the job in Race 4. The promising four-year-old was unlucky when resuming at Geelong before leading and giving nothing else a chance at the receng Donald Cup meeting, claiming a BenchMark 70 by nearly four lenghts from Intrepid Eagle. She comes into this third up. The daughter of Street Boss had form around Miss Roumbini in town at a similar stage of her last preparation and looks to have come back a better horse. From barrier 2, she should be hard to beat.
Caulfield Race 6 No.3- Miraval Rose
Miraval Rose can improve on a first up effort that saw her place 3rd at Caulfield behind Kin last month. That came at Listed level and she settled handy in a race that developed into a sit-sprint, just lacking the dash at the business end over the 1100m. The slight step up in trip suits and this is easier.
Caulfield Race 7 No.5- Bon Mistress
Bon Mistress can bounce back in Race 7. The four-year-old won two on the trot to kick off her campaign before tackling a Group 3 at Caulfield and finishing a well-beaten 6th behind Rumbled Again. That came on a Heavy track and she was back before making some ground late. The daughter of Bon Hoffa gets back onto a good surface and drops sharply in grade. Craig Williams rides.
Caulfield Race 9 No.3- Warnie
This looks to be a suitable assignment for Warnie. The promising galloper from the Ciaron Maher stable has had three starts in Australia since coming over from Europe. He was a first up winner back in October and was unlucky on Cup day at Flemington when a narrow 3rd before again placing 3rd at Caulfield on November 30 at Group 3 level. The four-year-old has been crunched in the early betting and does look to have a bit of a class edge.
