The Stuart Gower-trained galloper is high-flying of late and looks a serious chance of bringing up the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the Cosmic Force gelding made it back-to-back success when he claimed victory in a BM78 over 1800m against city class horses at Morphettville.
Jason Holder gave him the run of the race, one out - one back, before chasing hard in the run home and finishing best to score by half a length on the line.
Nicely drawn in gate three here, he maps to settle just behind the speed again and has Holder steering the ship in search of his third win with the four-year-old.
Already a winner at the track, he looks the testing material in this contest.
Race 6: No.5 Ginger Sinner
The Paula Trenwith-trained galloper is second-up here and ticks enough boxes to suggest he can figure in the finish of this event at odds.
Last start, the Castelvecchio gelding resumed off a 12-week spell and wasn’t disgraced when finishing fourth in a BM72 over 1000m on the Parks circuit at Morphettville.
Caitlin Tootell settled him last before putting the big ones in the run home, finishing just 1.5 lengths behind the winner that day.
Down in grade here, the four-year-old takes on BM64 company with Tootell in the saddle again and from gate two, maps to settle near mid-field.
Already a winner when second-up, a clear run to the line should see him fighting out the finish and he looks well worth a ticket on both totes in this contest.
Race 7: No.4 Threatening
The Gawler-based galloper is in great touch this preparation and third-up here looks set to stake a solid claim for back-to-back victories in this event.
Last start, the Shamus Award gelding was second-up and found his best form when he took out a Class 1 Hcp, here over 1200m with Todd Pannell in the saddle.
Jumping from gate 11 (of 14), he settled last in the big field before scouting wide on the turn and finishing too strong for them in the end, lumping 60.5kgs in the process.
Stepping up to BM64 grade here, he drops 2kgs for the event and has Pannell at the helm again.
He maps to settle back in the field from gate ten and fitter for two runs back, should be ready for the 1400m trip.
Already a winner here, he can figure in this contest.
