Last start, the Nicconi gelding resumed after 18 weeks off the scene and wasted no time strutting his stuff by taking out a BM72 over 1000m at Belmont.
William Pike settled him just behind the speed before peeling wide on the turn and finishing best to claim a third career win by more than a length on the line.
From gate seven, he maps to settle better than mid-field with the sit on the leaders and has Pike in the saddle again.
Unbeaten in two starts at the track and distance and yet to miss a podium finish in six career starts, his resume suggests he will take a ton of beating in this contest.
Race 7: No.11 Old Mate Henry
The Steele Casey-trained galloper is yet to miss a top-three finish in six career starts and looks ideally placed here to keep that record intact in this event.
Last start, the My Admiration gelding finally turned his luck around and broke through for his first career win, taking out a Maiden contest over 1695m at Bunbury.
With William Pike aboard again, he settled back in the 10-strong field before tracking wide in the turn and finishing over the top of them and racing away to win by almost five lengths on the line.
The 1800m here looks ideal for him now and from gate two, he does no early work as he settles back in the field with Pike in control again.
In faultless form this preparation, he looks set to go on with it in this contest.
Race 10: No.4 Deel Her In
Trevor Andrews saddles-up the Dundeel mare here who is second-up and with previous track success on her resume, looks the testing material in this event.
Last start, the four-year-old resumed after eight months in the paddock and in need of the run, finished mid-field in a BM72 over 1200m at Belmont.
Jumping from gate seven here, she maps to settle back in the field again with Shaun O'Donnell retaining the ride.
Fitter for that first-up run and already a winner at Ascot, a trouble-free run here can see the mare improve enough to give this a real shake and is well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
