Race 1: No.7 Harmonic Dancer
The Phillip Stokes-trained galloper is third-up here and coming off a success, looks set to frank that effort in this event.
Last start, the Pariah gelding showed plenty of improvement off his first-up run when he broke through for his first career win when he took out a Maiden Plate, here over 1200m with Jake Opperman in the saddle.
Caught wide without cover, he sat third early before creeping closer on the turn, then with a solid turn-of-foot, destroyed the 13-strong field, putting more than five lengths on them over the line.
Opperman remains aboard for this assignment where the three-year-old draws out in barrier eight and maps to cross and settle near mid-field.
Now a track and distance winner, a repeat of that last-start effort would see him very hard to beat in this contest.
Race 5: No.7 Zoupurring
Another from the Stokes stable, Zoupurring is in top-shelf form this time in and with all boxes ticked here, he lines-up as the best of the day in this event.
Last start, the Zoustar gelding made it back-to-back successes when he easily accounted for a BM86 over 1250m, here on the Parks circuit.
Jake Opperman had him one out, one back on settling before finishing best to cross the line more than a length clear in the end.
Ideally drawn here, he jumps from gate two and maps to be box-seating with Opperman in the saddle again.
Winning three of his four starts this time in, he is at his peak now and looks the testing material in this contest.
Race 9: No.4 Murph
Paul Carey saddles-up Murph here who is in career-best form and looks a sound chance of bringing up the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the Magnus gelding made it back-to-back wins when he took out a Class 2 Hcp, here over 1250m on the Parks circuit.
From the outside gate (8), he did it tough to the turn but kept coming and eventually did best to get the nod on the line.
Much better drawn here, he jumps from gate three and maps to settle better than mid-field with cover.
Taylor Johnstone has two winning rides from as many attempts with the four-year-old and has the reins for this assignment.
In winning form and already a winner at the track, he looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
