We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Kembla Grange racetrack.

Race 3: No.3 Bundeena

The John Thompson-trained galloper is second-up here and down in grade, looks a genuine chance for victory at odds in this event.

Last start, the Spirit of Boom gelding resumed off a 10-week spell and wasn’t far away when finishing fourth in a strong BM84 over 1000m at Randwick.

Andrew Adkins settled him back in the field before tracking wide and running home fairly to just a podium finish in the end.

Better suited here, he drops back in grade and faces BM78 company with Adkins in the saddle again.

Well drawn in gate four, he maps to settle near mid-field with cover and already a two-time winner when second-up, he is worth at least an each-way ticket in this contest.

Race 5: No.12 Natoya

John Sargent saddles-up Natoya here who is yet to miss a podium finish in four starts back and even up in grade here, still looks a winning chance in this event.

Last start, the Redwood mare continued to impress coming off a big win at Newcastle when she stepped-up in class and beat all but one home that day in a BM72 over 1800m at Randwick.

Taking on city-class gallopers for the first time, the former NZ’er settled back in the field before Jason Collett steered her off heels and in the run home, passed all but the winner, taking home the silver medal on the day.

The stable have removed the blinkers here for the first time where she draws well in gate two and maps to settle back again with Jason Collett retaining the ride.

Facing BM78 company, she drops 4kgs for her first look at the 2000m trip and in her current form, she looks a major player in this contest.

Race 6: No.14 Sociable

The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper is high-flying this time in and looks well placed here to go on with it in this event.

Last start, the Yes Yes Yes gelding was third-up and coming off back-to-back minor placings, improved even further to clobber his Class 1 rivals over 1200m at Wyong.

With Adam Hyeronimus aboard, he settled worse than midfield before scouting wide on the turn and reaching the 150m mark, took the lead and went on to score by more than three lengths over the line.

Carrying 59kgs, he covered the 1200m in a sizzling 1:08.5.

Stepping-up in grade here, the four-year-old takes on BM78 company but lines-up dropping 6kgs, carrying just 53kgs for this assignment.

Well drawn, down in weight and in top-shelf form, he looks in the mix in this contest.
