We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Morphettville racetrack.

Race 5: No.7 Zoupurring

The Phillip Stokes-trained galloper is in top-shelf form this preparation and looks ideally placed here to score his eighth career win in this event.

Last start, the Zoustar gelding was shooting for the hat-trick when he fell just shy, finishing second in the Gytrash Series Final over 1200m, here on the main course.

After settling mid-field, he scouted wide on the turn and finished hard but was unable to reel in the tearaway leader, beaten half a length on the line.

Well drawn in gate five here, he maps to settle just behind the speed with Jake Opperman retaining the ride for this assignment.

Well weighted and a winner on the Parks track two starts back, he looks the testing material in this contest.

Race 7: No.3 Bristler

The locally-trained galloper has found his mojo of late and looks set to give this event a real shake.

Last start, the British-bred gelding came off a BM64 win here on this track when he stepped-up to BM74 grade and beat all but one home over the 1000m trip.

Crossing from the outside gate (8), he took-up the lead and looked set for an all-the-way win but was nosed-out on the line, taking home second prize on the day.

Ideally drawn here in gate four, he maps to be showing them the way again with Kayla Crowther retaining the ride for this assignment.

Already a two-time winner at the track, if they allow him to dictate the speed here, the six-year-old might prove too hard to run down in this contest.

Race 9: No.11 Extinguish

Michael Hickmott saddles-up Extinguish here who is third-up and has done enough to suggest he is ready to explode in this event.

Last start, the Proisir mare showed a ton of improvement when she came off an unplaced effort when first-up on the main track and then beat all but one home over 1400m on the Parks track.

Sitting outside the leader most of the way, she was gallant in defeat and spaced the rest of them, beating them home by five lengths on the line.

Down in weight here she does little to no early work from gate one and maps to settle mid-field or better from there with Pannell in the saddle again.

Fitter for two runs back and placed when third-up previously, the four-year-old can give this contest a real shake.
