Eagle Farm racing takes place on Saturday, June 8, with the nine-race program set for QLD Oaks Day.

Race 1: No. 7 Princess Rhaenys
Can be a tough mare to catch for the punters with just four wins from 24 career starts but she is capable of producing a high rating on her day.
She’s yet to win a black type race but she did win an open quality to close out her last campaign over 2020m at Doomben.
Both runs this prep have been full of merit and she battled home well on the wrong part of the track in the straight last time out.
Will appreciate the step up in distance now and will be right in the finish.
Race 4: No. 12 Shalaa’s Moment
She’s turned into a winning machine and made it three in a row when making up an enormous amount of ground in the straight to score by a length two weeks ago.
That was the sixth win in just 11 career starts for the daughter of Shalaa and she drops 1.5kgs into this race.
This is another step up in grade but there is a huge amount of sped in this race so watch for her late!
Race 6: No. 1 Hedged
A talented and consistent son of Capitalist who has been placed in all but three of his nine race starts so far in his short career.
Was beaten by the barest of margins behind Joliestar at Group level at Randwick over 1200m during the autumn and then just peaked on his run late at Caulfield last time out.
Has had six weeks in between runs and will appreciate the big step back in grade for this contest with just 57kg on his back.
Race 9: No. 2 Mazu
Has been mixing his form of late but we all know what he is capable of at his best.
The only time he has raced over 1200m at Eagle Farm he won the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 back in 2022 and seven of his eight wins have been on a soft or heavy track.
Didn’t finish too far off them in the 10,000 and he’ll appreciate the drop back in grade as well as the 2.5kg drop in weight.
