Flemington racing takes place on Saturday, June 8, with an nine-race program for the meeting.
We have the best bets picked out from across day with value selections for Flemington Racecourse.
Race 3 No. 2 Le Zebra
Going with LE ZEBRA at nice odds in Race 3. The three-year-old has had just the one start this preparation for an 8th over the 1400m at Flemington behind Riverina Power, beaten more than three lengths.
He was ok late in the piece that day and will strip fitter for this assignment, while he meets the winner 3.5kg better at the weights.
He pulled up with issues at his previous second up run but at his preparation prior to that, the Pakenham based galloper was a significant improver on times when going from a 3rd at Mornington to a strong win at Sandown.
He then won over the 1400m at Flemington. Linda Beech sticks on board and might be more positive on the son of Rip Van Winkle this time around.
Race 7 No. 5 Title Fighter
TITLE FIGHTER shapes as a solid each-way chance in Race 7 of the day at Flemington.
The Clayton Douglas-trained galloper shows promise and scored in quick time at Caulfield on May 4 over the 1100m ahead of Shesallshenanigans.
He was luckless prior to that at the Mornington Saturday meeting when runner-up in what has turned out to be a hot form race.
At his only start over the Flemington straight, the son of Lean Mean Machine was an inconclusive 10th when losing ground on a couple of occasions when 10th behind Estriella in a Listed race.
He draws in the right part of the track for this and has been specked at odds.
Race 9 No. 17 Losesomewinmore
The promising Adelaide galloper, LOSESOMEWINMORE, can go on with the job when he steps out in the final race of the day.
The Richard & Chantelle Jolly-trained galloper has won two of three this time in and thrived at his first go at Flemington on May 18 when clearing out to a strong win ahead of Sioux Spirit over the 1100m.
He was strong to the line late in that race with the fastest last 200m and the step to the 1200m should only suit.
A firmer in the early betting, the son of All Too Hard just needs clear air from barrier 12 and should be hard to hold out late in the piece.
