Race 1: No.10 Barbray

The Chris Waller-trained galloper has found his mojo and looks well placed here to go on with it in this event.

Last start, the Zoustar gelding landed his first win for this campaign when he took out a BM62 over 1600m at the Sunshine Coast.

Last out of the gates, Jake Bayliss settled him at the rear of the field before coming off heels and on the turn, swung wide then in the run home, gobbled them all up to go on and score by more than three lengths under hands and heels.

Stepping-up to BM70 company here, he draws nicely in gate three and maps to do no early work as he takes a sit back in the field with Bayliss in charge again.

At his peak after four runs back, the five-year-old could prove hard to hold out in this contest.

Race 7: No.6 Automne Tree

In top-shelf form this preparation, the Chris Waller-trained galloper ticks enough boxes here to suggest he can figure in the finish of this event.

Last start, the son of The Autumn Sun was shooting for the hat-trick when he had to settle for second prize in a BM80 Hcp, here over 1600m.

Ryan Maloney settled him mid-field early before creeping closer approaching the turn, then in the run home eventually found the front but was run down late by a swooper, leaving him with the silver medal for the race.

Dropping back to BM78 company here, he draws well in gate five and maps to settle mid-field with cover and has Maloney steering the ship again.

At his peak here, the five-year-old is in great touch at the moment and with a trouble-free run, looks in the mix to claim victory in this contest.

Race 8: No.10 Fragile Love

The Tony Gollan-trained galloper has returned in top-shelf form and down in weight here, looks set back-to-back wins in this event.

Last start, the No Nay Never mare went one better than her first-up effort when she took out a BM70 Hcp, here over 1200m.

Settling near last early, she tracked wide on the turn where she could still see all but one of them in front of her, then after being held-up to the 300m mark, she finally saw daylight and stormed home to grab victory right on the line in a top-class second-up effort.

Taking on Class 6 company here, she draws wide in gate 10 but maps to fall back early anyway with Leah Martyn steering the ship again.

After the claim, the mare carries 6kgs less than that last-start win and having placed twice when third-up previously, the six-year-old looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
