Last start, the Bon Hoffa gelding came off an impressive first-up win over 1400m at Eagle Farm when he stepped-up to the mile trip and finished behind the placegetters in Class 6 company.
Trying to lead all the way, he was challenged during the run and in the end, ran out of gas, missing the podium finish.
Facing BM78 company here, he draws gate five and maps to be on the speed with Emily Lang in the saddle again.
Back at Doomben, where he is already a two-time winner at the track and distance, a trouble-free run here can see him fighting out the finish of this contest.
