Race 2: No.6 Blenheim Girl
The Chris Waller-trained galloper is second-up here and looks in for back-to-back success in this event.
Last start, the Churchill mare resumed after eight months off the scene and impressed when she took out a BM64, here over 1200m.
Slowly away, she settled near the tail of the field before creeping forward along the fence to make up ground, then in the run home, came off heels and finished too strong for them, grabbing victory near the line.
Meeting similar company here, she maps to settle near mid-field from gate seven and the step-up to the 1550m looks just right for her now.
Now a track and distance winner and already a winner when second-up, she should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 5: No.5 Dietrich
Kylie Gavinlock saddles-up Dietrich here who resumes off a six-month break and looks well placed for a bold first-up effort in this event.
Last start, the Pariah mare ended her last campaign with a win in a BM64 Hcp over 1100m at Gosford.
She settled third, one off the fence to the turn before joining the leader on straightening, then running home strongest to claim victory by a length on the line.
She has trialled since resuming work, finishing second at Gosford.
From gate five she maps to settle near mid-field with Olivia Chambers as the new pilot and already a winner when first-up, the four-year-old looks in the mix to claim victory in this contest.
Race 6: No.1 Snack Bar
The Bjorn Baker-trained galloper is four starts into this preparation and now looks ready to strike in this event.
Last start, the Frosted gelding put in his best performance this time in when he beat all but one home in a BM78 Hcp over 1200m at Rosehill.
On a Heavy 9 that day, he settled mid-field early, before creeping a little closer on the turn, then sticking to the fence, he was held-up til half way home when Rachel King pushed him through a narrow gap where he finished off nicely, arriving in time to grab the minor prize in the race.
Dropping back to BM72 grade here, he carries 4kgs more but gets the gun-run from gate one where he maps to settle better than mid-field on the fence with James McDonald back for his second ride on the gelding.
At his peak here and on a drier track, he looks the one to beat in this contest.
